Washington Park Quality of Life Plan
A Community-Led Vision for a Thriving Washington Park
Collaborators
Mission & Vision
The Washington Park Quality of Life Plan was developed through a community-driven process grounded in intentional engagement strategies, including Community Connections, Public Safety events, Dinner & Dialogues, the Aldermanic State of the District, and the Community Design Charrette process.
Grounded in resident voice and strengthened through collaboration and innovation, this plan reflects both what has been built together and what lies ahead.
It serves as a call to action and a living framework for implementation, accountability, and continued engagement, guiding the Washington Park community forward toward lasting impact and an improved quality of life for generations to come.
Goal: Exposure to opportunities that support their ability to thrive and grow is crucial to the community's vision of sustainability and equity, as they are the next generation of homeowners, leaders, and entrepreneurs. While Washington Park has some youth-serving organizations, more resources are needed for youth with options for safe, fun activities, education, and exposure to development opportunities.
